St. Davids Day Walk.
St David’s Day Walk
Our St David’s Day walk is to be held on Saturday 25th February at 10.30 am.
Meet at the Heritage Area in Llanymynech where your walk leader will be Mr Vic Smith.
Please arrive a little before 10.30 in order to allow time for the pre-
Lunch is booked at the Bradford Arms, Llanymynech for around 12.30 (ish) should you wish to partake.
Menus will be available beforehand for you to pre-

Come and join us for what promises to be an interesting and informative walk.
CRT will be using it as one of their Heritage Walks and will advertise it.
We are holding our annual litter pick, in conjunction with Canal and River Trust on Saturday 4th March.
This is an opportunity to help clean up our waterway and keep the area a pleasant place to spend some time.
We meet at the wharf in Welshpool at 10.00 am where litter picking equipment will be issued by CRT.
Light refreshment will be provided in the Tourist Information Centre at the end of the event to which you are invited.
Everyone welcome, so come along and help out.
St. Georges Day Walk.
Join us for our St George’s Day Walk in the beautiful Shropshire countryside
incorporating a visit to St Winifred’s Well.
Meet in the car park opposite Queen’s Head pub (SY11 4EB) at 10.00 am for a 10.15 am start.
The walk will take approximately two to two and half hours and will be on the towpath,
fields and lanes therefore please expect some muddy parts but also good surfaces.
There are also some stiles to be negotiated.
Lunch will be available at the end (chargeable) should you wish to join us.

There will be a talk by Dave Walker after the meeting.

2.30 pm at Oswestry Golf Club,Aston Park, Oswestry.
Annual event to learn about the current state of restoration and plans
for the future. (No charge for admission.)
